Therapy for anxiety, overwhelm, perfectionism,
and ADHD

Hi! I’m Catriona Waters

If you've spent years overthinking, second-guessing yourself, feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or wondering why life feels harder than it should, you're not alone.

Many of the people I work with are intelligent, capable, and successful on the outside, but they feel life is harder for them than for others. They’ve tried self help books, podcasts, and various strategies, and yet they still struggle with anxiety, low mood, procrastination, focus, or self doubt.

That’s because the problem is rarely a lack of willpower. Often there’s something deeper driving the pattern.

My job is to help you understand what's really going on, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you're seeking therapy or looking for a comprehensive ADHD assessment, we'll work together to gain clarity, build practical strategies, and help you feel calmer, more confident, and more in control.

My Approach

I believe therapy should not only be supportive, but effective too. My aim is for you to no longer need therapy because you feel better.

You'll find me warm, approachable, and genuinely interested in understanding your experience. But I'm also practical and engaged. I'm not the type of therapist who simply nods while you stay stuck. I’ll help you understand how your mind works, what your nervous system is doing, and why certain patterns keep repeating. From there, we develop practical tools and strategies that create real-world change.

My work integrates traditional talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches, and ADHD-informed strategies. If you’re seeking deeper work, I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).

About Catriona

“I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I’m the founder and Clinical Director of Bounce! Counseling & Coaching.

I grew up just outside London and moved to California over twenty years ago. Although Southern California is home now, you'll hear traces of my British accent and sense of humor during our work together.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in marketing, and public relations. That experience gave me firsthand insight into the pressures faced by professionals balancing demanding careers, relationships, family responsibilities, and the constant expectation to perform.

As both a therapist and a parent, I've seen how ADHD, anxiety, and overwhelm can affect individuals and families. Two of my three children have ADHD, which has given me an appreciation for the real-world challenges that often exist beyond what appears in textbooks and diagnostic criteria.”

What’s in a Name?

“I wanted a name for my practice that conveys my approach and values. Bounce! represents:

  • resilience and adaptability - the ability to bounce back from challenges;
