About
Therapists at Bounce! Counseling & Coaching are not the type to sit in silence waiting for you to say something. We’ll have real conversations to explore what’s happening beneath the surface.
We not only explore your thoughts and feelings to make sense of them and process them, we also coach, encourage, and work on strategies to help you right now.
The Bounce! Approach
What It’s Like to Work Together.
You’ll get a clear plan, grounded in your goals.
You’ll have space to talk - and tools to use between sessions.
You’ll be supported, challenged, and encouraged in equal measure.
….And over time that relentless inner critic, or that anxious, overthinking part?
It gets quieter.
You start to feel like yourself again - just a steadier, more present version. Maybe even a new and improved version.

How We’re Different
Every therapist at Bounce! Counseling & Coaching had a past life in a different career. With our varied backgrounds in business, sports, and the creative industries we understand the pressures of high expectations and juggling competing demands.
Whether it's the demands of a boss, family, or the pressure you put on yourself to succeed, we get it.
We bring unique perspectives to your therapy sessions, providing valuable insights that will help guide you on your winding journey through the push and pull of work and everyday life.
We pride ourselves on our good positive energy and sense of humor. We believe in encouraging you on your journey and highlighting your wins.
Every Bounce! therapist has a long history of working with people from different backgrounds, cultures, and religious beliefs, and we are all LGBTQ+ friendly.
Catriona Waters, LMFT
Hello! I’m Catriona. I enjoyed many years as a successful (but stressed) marketing and public relations executive working with major brands in creative teams. As a result I understand the pressure to deliver. When I became a mom I discovered a different sort of pressure, one that is present 24/7.
I’m British, grew up in London, and attended college in Sheffield, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and French. After moving to California over 20 years ago with my family, I became interested in therapy after two of my three kids were diagnosed with ADHD. I was so fascinated by everything I learned that I decided to switch career to become a therapist. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College, Pasadena, CA, and trained at the Family Services Agency of Burbank, CA. I have been practicing as a therapist for over 9 years.
I specialize in treating anxiety, panic attacks , depression, ADHD, and trauma and am certified in EMDR therapy. I am also a clinical supervisor to Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs) and Associate Social Workers (ACSWs).

Jules can meet in person in our Pasadena office, or online.
Our Associates
At Bounce! Counseling & Coaching, we are privileged to have Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFTs) and Associate Social Workers (ACSWs) on our team who are actively pursuing licensure under careful supervision.
With a focus on continuous growth and learning, our Associates provide compassionate and personalized care to each client. You can trust in the expertise and dedication of our AMFTs as they work diligently to support you on your journey towards improved mental health and well-being.
