Why ADHD is often missed
Many adults we work with have successful careers, families, and full lives. From the outside things look fine.
Inside it can feel more like:
• constantly working harder than everyone else
• forgetting things despite trying
• overthinking every decision
• feeling overwhelmed by simple tasks
• cycling between productivity and burnout
Many people come in wondering whether it’s anxiety, stress, trauma, burnout, or ADHD — and sometimes it's more than one thing.
What happens during an ADHD Assessment
Our goal isn't simply to put a label on something. It's to help you understand why things feel harder than they should — and what to do next.
Our comprehensive assessment process includes:
1. Understanding your history
We explore childhood, school experiences, relationships, work patterns, and how symptoms show up now.
2. Looking beyond ADHD
Anxiety, trauma, stress, sleep issues, and other factors can sometimes look similar to ADHD, so we take time to understand the bigger picture rather than jumping to conclusions.
3. Use structured assessment tools
We use standardized measures and evidence-based approaches to gather information and identify patterns.
4. Connecting the dots
You'll receive practical feedback that helps explain not only whether ADHD may be present, but how your brain seems to work.
5. Knowing what comes next
You'll leave with recommendations tailored specifically to you and a clearer understanding of your strengths and challenges.
We don’t just want to label something, we want to help you understand your brain better, better manage your challenges, and build on your strengths.
